· We have made changes in scheduling to allow for social distancing. This may impact appointment availability. We strongly advise guests not to wait in the reception area, with the exception of those accompanying handicapped patients and children under 18 years of age.
· Intake and Front Desk: At the time of their appointment, patients will telephone us from the parking lot, and when given clearance, will go directly into their treatment room.
· Infection Control: We have outfitted our office with plexiglass barriers. We practice universal precautions with disposable PPE including faceshields, gowns, and N-95 masks that help protect both staff and patients. Once cleaned and disinfected, operatories are sprayed with a specific hospital grade sanitizer. We rotate between operatories in order to give the sanitization time to work.
We will continue to monitor universal precautions and guidelines set forth by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on a daily basis and will refine best practices as we proceed.
